I want to go to sleep!

Neighbours (middle aged woman and her adult son) are blasting music. I can hear it with earplugs in, through a brick wall.

It's 11.30pm and I have work early tomorrow.

AIBU to want them to turn it off so I can sleep?!?! It's not like they're having people over for a party....

WHY do people feel the need to play music so loudly at night?!?!?!

I’m with you. It seems like mine has turned hers down slightly after I asked politely in a text.

We live in flats. Unfortunately that means it is selfish and intrusive to play music as loud as your speakers go.

It frustrates me.

We're in terraced houses with hefty brick walls between them. Much harder in flats when walls are thin, but surely it shouldn't be so loud that I can hear through the wall and earplugs?!?!

Never met this neighbour so don't have her number.

There's just something so entitled about it!!!!

Might have the tv hung on the wall or a sound bar or similar, it really carries!

Can you suddenly get a liking for Nordic death metal and play that very loud? 🤘
