I was searching for an old thread and got distracted by one which came up in the resultsf that I thought was fascinating (probably because my husband is an artist).

I was reading it through, and felt quite sorry that it had ended without more posts. Did the OP dump him? Did she get to the bottom of why his family was like that? Are there more posters with interesting stories of similar situations? I'd love the OP to come back and tell us more.

So, does it piss you off when people post on old threads? Are there any you can recall which you wish had continued? This is meant as a bit of easy Saturday night chatter about threads we remember that feel somehow 'unfinished', so please don't savage me Grin, but AIBU?

I quite often search for threads on google ie “baby weaning peanuts mumsnet” and then always get posts from 2008 in which a poster says they’re about to try it with their highly allergic kid and live an hour from the nearest hospital. Even those really boring threads I’d like to know the answer to

I do the exact same as pp, I often search Google for something like 'perfect grey paint mumsnet'. Its nice to get different opinions and not just a funded blog or advert. I sometimes come across posts I wish I could read further into also Grin
