He has some old wranglers but we can't read the label in them

And now his bits are coming through the net

If they fit his legs they are too wide for the waist

Try "athletic fit" jeans for weightlifters. They're cut to allow more room on the thighs. Gap do some.

SewingWarriorQueen76 · 27/11/2020 16:56

Skateboarding jeans are baggier than normal fit.

HelplessProcrastinator · 27/11/2020 17:03

Following as my DH has the same issue. He has really wobbly knee joints do has developed rugby player thighs to compensate (not deliberately). He had a lot of pain in his knees as well and the current fashion for slim jeans is really uncomfortable.

MissConductUS · 27/11/2020 17:05

Lands End will tailor the legs to whatever length you need. The traditional fit or relaxed fit will give him more room.

CMOTDibbler · 27/11/2020 17:08

Try Urban gymwear - they stock jeans for larger quads

user1493494961 · 27/11/2020 17:10

I would let him find his own.

VienneseWhirligig · 27/11/2020 17:10

My DS is a similar size and has legs like tree trunks from years of cage fighting. He gets stretch skinny Levis which he finds more comfortable. If they have no stretch, they are no good for him.

MaskingForIt · 27/11/2020 17:15

My husband has tree trunk legs and usually buys his jeans in Marks and Spencer’s. They aren’t the most fashionable of cuts, but they keep him decent.

Porcupineinwaiting · 27/11/2020 17:28

Try Gap. Dh is 6'2", has a similar problem thigh wise and has a 34" waist. It's a real problem.

londonschool · 27/11/2020 17:38

My husband is the same except short. They're very expensive but Spoke does different waists, lengths and leg shapes (Fit C for big thighs). Currently on 20% off.

Indigo89 · 27/11/2020 23:19

Keirin jeans are good too. They ship from America iirc - saw them recommended by Chris Hoy and bought DH a pair a few years ago now.

SadderThanEeyore · 27/11/2020 23:22

Try Slaters menswear

MrsKipling16 · 28/11/2020 09:56

You want Legend London

DanielRicciardosSmile · 28/11/2020 09:59

@user1493494961

I would let him find his own.
Because heaven forbid anyone should ever ask for advice on a loved one's behalf! Hmm
thegreenlight · 28/11/2020 10:01

You just described my husband - don’t even bother with UK jeans, they aren’t built for men like ours. DH swears by 511 jeans (they are an American brand and even have a concealed carry pocket Grin)

Gombrich479 · 28/11/2020 10:01

My husband has footballer thighs and the only jeans that look good on him are Jacob Cohen. They’re gorgeous, beautifully cut and come in an array of great washes.

domesticslattern · 28/11/2020 10:05

He wants to buy from Spoke. As a PP said they sell jeans and trousers for different body builds. They are the only trousers on earth which fit my DH.

I think he would be gutted if I got something from Jaccambo

He slagged his brother off for it when he was a teenager

Going to try Spokes

They are more his style🤣
