Not sure I follow this. I'd take the Oxford one any day and I'm all about prestige brands. Plus Pfizer coming out of the end of the Trump administration doesn't fill me with any confidence...

But the Oxford one is cheaper to make (cheaper to buy) AND it’s much easier to store in a normal fridge.

Imagine the cost of the freezers that would be required to distribute to third world countries.... on top of a more expensive vaccine?....

IMO Oxford takes too spot for all rounder etc ....

Pfizer can only go to front line healthcare workers anyway, and those that can travel to one of the very few places with ultra cold storage. For everyone else it'll be Oxford.

Interesting. I worked in pharmaceutical marketing back in the day.... and for Pfizer for a while (although not in marketing).

I'm not sure I'd believe the spin about one being 'better' than the other.

I'd be happy with either vaccine.

Of course they will. You need to know what you've had for various reasons - if you need a second jab, if you have side effects .

Seriously though, given some of the challenges with the other vaccines (storage and cost), I think the Oxford vaccine will be the one that saves the world.

Yeah, I definitely go for the German vaccine, I mean look at their Cars, ye can't beat the Aul German engineering.
