Travel in same tier level?

Hi all,

Wanted to ask if we can travel into same tier level areas?

We are going to be in tier 3. Can we travel to another tier 3 area?

I can't seem to find the info, so thought I would ask here.

I know to stay out of other tier areas but I don't have to pass anything in a lower tier. I'm in the west midlands.

I'm just confused about it all. Confused

I don’t think it’s against the law in England but is against the guidelines unless for work, education, medical treatment etc. Everyone should be minimising travel anyway but especially in tier 3 areas.

Except at Christmas when covid is apparently on annual leave and we can all travel anywhere in the UK regardless of tier
