I know this really belongs on the women's health board but it's very quiet over there and I didn't anticipate a response.

My period used to arrive on the 21st of each month like clockwork but for the past 6-8 months it has been getting progressively later.

23rd one month, 26th the next, 28th the following. I'm currently waiting for it to arrive now with no sign yet.

I'm also experiencing quite bad adult acne which I'm sure is hormonal.

I get awful PMS too, which I have never experienced before this past year.

In the run up to my period I'm completely shattered, it's like I'm glued to the sofa and have to force myself to get up. I'm not fit for anything.

Is all of this indicative of any known condition? Thyroid? Hormonal imbalance?

It all began after having my youngest child who is 19 months old.

I think you need to look at home many days each cycle is rather then the date it falls. Having a period on the 21st of each month isnt regular as regular cycles are the same length (say 28 days) which would naturally fall on different calendar days. Does that make sense?

Before kids my cycle was always 26 days which would mean it fell on different days each month. Since my last dd I dont have regular cycles but they're not crazy irregular either. 25-27 days

Mine went a bit weird at the start of lockdown too (then I got pregnant so I don't know if it would have stayed weird).

I went from 30 days v regular to 35 days.

I think it was a combo of stress, exhaustion, lack of daylight and exercise and a change of diet due to lockdown and wfh.

There are between 28 and 31 days in a month, so having your period on the same day each month makes no sense.

You need to count how long your period is in days. For example, for a 28 day cycle you’d start your period on 26th October, 23rd November, 21 December, and so on.

Track your cycle properly, and then see a doctor if there is a problem.
