Help - where can I buy packs of A4 coloured paper?

I'm sure I have got this in Tesco in the past, but I haven't seen it in there recently - maybe depends on the size of the store.

Any ideas? I need it by Friday at the latest, so almost certainly too late to get it delivered. It's for children's Advent and Christmas crafts, aiming to provide craft activities for 100 children.

I'm in Scotland - tier 4.

Amazon, surely?

Albless · 26/11/2020 00:10

I need it by Friday. Earliest I could get it from Amazon would be Saturday.

So I'm looking for suggestions of a shop I can actually go to.

Ah, I checked Amazon and it offered me same-day delivery.

I'm not sure what would be open in T4 but WH Smith might have it.

I think I got some from Wilko recently? But it might have been card.

Have you a local office supply place (are they still open?). Sorry I'm in tier 1 and we're business as usual.

Baker Ross

Givemeabreak88 · 26/11/2020 00:27

Amazon prime (next day delivery?)

Otherwise all the usual stores mentioned above will stock it

YerAWizardHarry · 26/11/2020 00:29

The Works?

dhisreadingmypostsagain · 26/11/2020 00:35

Hobby craft?

baffledcoconut · 26/11/2020 00:36

Lidl have packs in. Or cluck and collect from hobbycraft.

WingingWonder · 26/11/2020 00:39

Sainos!

sofiaaaaaa · 26/11/2020 00:39

Maybe try eBay and ask the seller to post with Royal Mail special delivery (you’ll have to pay for it). You are guaranteed to receive it by 9am Friday.

premiumhob · 26/11/2020 00:41

Hobbycraft won't be open.

I would just try ASDA, Home Bargains or B&M

sofiaaaaaa · 26/11/2020 00:41

I had a look in WHSmith website but seems they only have coloured card online

Hobbycraft at Glasgow Fort is doing Click & Collect
Albless · 26/11/2020 00:50

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I'm hoping that even though some of your suggested shops don't have coloured paper on their websites, that they will actually have it in stock.

I'm blaming Black Friday for Amazon's delivery delays.

Livingston Hobbycraft is doing Click & Collect as well.

Albless · 26/11/2020 00:54

I'm in East Ayrshire - so can't get to Hobbycraft, unfortunately. I'm working on the understanding that we're not supposed to cross Council borders or is it ok if all the same tier level?

OP posts:
lyralalala · 26/11/2020 00:58

Oh I've no idea. I'm not in scotland. My cousin's kid works in Hobbycraft that's the only reason I knew (and I looked up Livingston to see if it was the same).

I would have assumed you could only cross the council areas for essential purposes and I'm not sure shopping for supplies would count.
