Why is it, everything I open a new pill box, I always seem to get the end with the leaflet blocking it:

Almost everytime!

same thing happens to me

Same here, opened the box with new inhaler in today and guess what, leaflet again. Some sort of conspiracy

GuillermoVanHelsing · 25/11/2020 17:33

I think I have this sussed.

The end that has the use by date, Braille or the scannable QR code is usually the leaflet end

It's little known but a physicist called Schrodinger designed the original pill box...

I've heard they pack them that way deliberately to encourage you to read the leaflet. Apparently people almost always open the boxes from the sides furthest from the drug name (i.e the right side if you're holding the box in front of you right side up).

Me too - even when I try to outwit it, and change it from what my instinct was, when I'm just about to open it, I still get the leaflet!!

TrickorTreacle · 25/11/2020 18:46

It's like roulette isn't it!

red/black/red/black/red/black...

You bet on one colour but it lands on the opposite colour.

ALWAYS!!! And I’m on lots of meds so my fingertips are always sliced from the blister packs 😡
