To object to biscuits being served at NCT coffee mornings ?

I've just started going to my local NCT coffee mornings and I'm surprised to find that at all of the 5 or so homes I've been in all the kids are getting biscuits whilst the mums have coffee and cake.
I know I'll probably end up hosting one of these things one morning but I dont like the idea of providing sweet stuff for the under 2's. Wouldnt dried fruit or rice cakes be more appropriate ???

I have a breadmaker but I wouldn't give a 2 year old a feckin' rice cake! Well I would but you know what I mean

I like the apple ones - they saved me from lapsing into an exhausted coma one eventful train journey with five small children (DS1 in a buggy, DS2 in a sling) and three knackered adults...!

Little sneaky bugger... he raided a shopping bag in the kitchen, got the packet out, opened it, extracted a biscuit and stuffed it in his gob... all while I was on the loo!
