So..do people feel like we’re heading on the road back to ‘Normal’ (no masks, social distancing etc etc) when do you think that will be if so? Or have things changed forever?

I don't think this will last "forever", but we are by no means near the end of this pandemic. Not even close.

Nobody knows. But we're not going to suddenly wake up one day with everything snapped back to how it used to be overnight. It will be a gradual process.

If we have a closer version of the old normal by next winter and don't need to shut everything down for the winter again I think we'll be doing well.

I think rules about masks in public places will be retained until it’s obvious the vaccination programme has dealt with the spread. Other than that (ability to see friends and family without limits, shops and amenities being fully open etc.) I think we’ll see a gradual return to normal spring to summer next year.

I think some of the changes will probably be forever but I am hopefully that by this time next year things will be back to normal in most ways

Forever? Like what?

Confusedasusual78 · 23/11/2020 21:37

@Sirzy Which changes need to be forever?

I think we are a third to half way through the pandemic.
