Okay... where did you get your dog advent calendar this year??

Last year we succumbed to DC and bought a doggy advent calendar with a daily treat for around £5/6.

This year Amazon online they seem to be £25 or thereabouts - or have one with rather dangerous looking plastic toys at £8! Lily's Kitchen at £10 seems to have sold out...

I love my DC and my dog but not that much!!

Any ideas?

I usually get a treat one from pets at home, pretty sure they are under a fiver.

PAH do cheaper ones and Fetch were doing a Lily’s kitchen one for £5 , not sure if they are still in stock . My dog didn’t like the Lily’s kitchen one a couple of years ago and he’s not allowed to eat crap treats so we just got a pocket one and stick one of his normal treats in .

JR Pet Products do a nice natural one for around £12. www.jrpetproducts.com/shop/advent-calendar/?v=79cba1185463

I’ve given up - tried a few and he always turns his nose up.

Our one came from the range this year

Pets at home, I think it was about £3.

I saw some at Pets at Home today.

There's no point getting one for our cat. In true cat style she looked at us as if we were trying to feed her cardboard rather than being delighted with her festive treat.

I got mine from a garden centre. Think it was £7.99 but it natural treats

Puppamumma · 23/11/2020 21:19

Tesco, think it was only £2 .She is a very greedy Labrador so it will be put up very high up away from her grasping jaws 😄

SansaClegane · 23/11/2020 21:30

Aldi, £3.99.

Same here. I got a cheapy one from Wilko a couple of years ago and thankfully only got one to share between about 7 of them (fosters so some are ours and others just passing through).

Because it was a catnip one they were literally pulling it out of the bag when I walked through the door, but when the time came to hand out the treats, none of them were interested.
