I have had my bath, I'm in my PJs, there's a chinese ready meal in the oven, crap telly on the box and I've got a nice cold glass of rose.

Enjoy is lovely to have an evening off sometimes, eat a readymeal (or a takeout) and just chill in your jammies. I've got book group tonight so will have takeout, wine and good company!

Unfortunately none of the kids are in bed. DS#1 is sweating blood over his magnus opus for literacy - a spine-tingler called Midwinter murder. DD is playing Adiboo on the computer and getting cross 'cos the ancient CD keeps getting jammed and DS#2 is tearing around with no jamies on eating satsumas. And I'm drinking white wine ....someone call SS!!!

Ah, yes.... dh has gone out to his orchestra rehearsal, ds has just gone to bed, and I think that wine might be chilled by now!

My dh was out last night, but unfortunately I had a Book Week costume to make, and some birthday cookies to bake, so not quite the "night off" I'd been planning
