To ask you to help me find a fridge/freezer that is mostly freezer?

An elderly relative has requested this and I am researching for her.

So far, it looks like the best we can get is a 50/50 split, but she wants the freezer section to be a lot bigger than the fridge.

Any ideas please?

Good luck. We spent a few months looking and had to give up. We now have am Amaerican style firdge freezer - biggest thing that would fit in the space we have - and a scond mini freezer in the conservatory... still need more space!

If anyone can find one that is a 60: 40 or more split to the freezer I'd be shopping in a trice!

I'm really happy with it.

I have also been looking for this. I have mostly given up. I expect to buy a separate fridge and freezer. They won't match but I have resigned myself to either living with it or integrating them into cupboards.

It really is dumb how the manufacturers keep going for more and more fridge space. There are five in my family, we like our food, like to eat fresh and if our moderately sized fridge is full then things would be gone off before we could eat them. Meanwhile I like to batch cook but never have enough freezer space.

The beko one ChunkyMonkey2020 was the most appropriate one I could find, but is only 54.5cm wide and I really want a 60cm wide one.

I got a cheap 2nd hand chest freezer in the garage instead as my current fridge freezer doesnt need replacing yet, I just wanted more freezer space.

A flexible one has just gone on my list. Never seen one of those... I'll have a read round in advance of our extremely reliable current one needing replacing

I was looking into this because although my fridge freezer is not broken, we needed more freezer space! Ended up with the cheaper and better (?) Option of just getting an additional under counter freezer!

Buy a larder freezer then separate counter top fridge?

I got a 70/30 freezer - fridge from AO a couple of months ago. I got a beko because they have a function where they still work if the temp is -15 so it can be kept in the garage.

They don’t exist. We ended up buying a full height freezer and a separate half height fridge

I tried to find one. Ended up with an American fridge freezer plus a massive chest freezer in the garage.

We have a Beko 40/60. We paid £250 with the Co-op. We bought in Dec 2016 and it’s been great, no issues. Lots of freezer space.
