Am I being unreasonable to ask if anyone can remember a joke that I only have the punchline for?

So..... I remember the punchline to a very funny joke - the punchline is: "words like marmalade and corrugated" but I can't remember the actual joke?

I know IABU to ask, but can anyone help me out? Does anyone know the joke which ends with this punchline?

“He (Hazlitt) realised after he’d written a couple of books that nobody read, because they had difficult words like marmalade and corrugated iron, he recognised that the way to be a part of the conversation was to be a journalist. So I thought I’d take a leaf out of his book!”.

Rugby forwards have difficulty with long words, such as marmalade and corrugated iron. Give me a few minutes and I'll reference the source 😀
