To go to the hairdressers instead of picking dd up early?

[whoops]

I came into work early today so I could finish early to take dd for her injections but I hav had a call to say the nurse is off sick so they have cancelled the appointment.
Am I being unreasonable by booking a hair appointment for me and not picking dd up early to do somthing with her instead?
(my hair is in need btw )
