Mentality of trolls

Im really curious as to why trolls exist? Ive just read a thread by one, it bothered me and i just think that someone who puts a thread on to purposely anger or upset others. Surely they must be mentally ill?

Yanbu to wonder what the fuck are they thinking.

That thread was awful and has made a lot of people feel like shit and angry but that's exactly what they want. Problem is there are people that think that way regardless of if they are a troll or not.

I was reading the nhs website when i found the term Psychopath is mental illness, its a extreme form of a personality disorder

No i just stated that some forms of "badness" is a mental illness , so it cant be a stretch to assume a troll could potentially be

Trolls are just attention seeking - being provocative is the only way they get people to 'talk to them' (even if virtual)
