Sorry posting for traffic.

If I'm baking something in the oven at the same time as grilling Salmon what is the likelihood the smell drifts into the oven and taints the baked goods?

Basically I'm planning on making meringues and the recipe says to switch the oven off after baking and leave to dry in there for 4 hrs. Going to start dinner soon and don't want fishy meringues. Is this a possibility?

Not if your oven is properly sealed. Also keep the extractor fan on over the fish, or even open the window if you are that worried. And wash the pan out or put it in the dishwasher with the door shut as soon as you are done cooking, then the same with the plates and cutlery after you eat.

But honestly, I think you are worrying about a job-problem.
