My step child has just tested positive for Covid. He is okay, he's not ill and has no symptoms basically.

But I am pregnant, nearly 30 weeks and I am absolutely petrified now that I've got it and it's going to harm my baby.

I have a history of miscarriages, this is the first successful pregnancy out of so many. I am terrified Sad

I can’t really offer much advice but I just wanted to reply. Could you call your midwife for some reassurance? I don’t know how much evidence there is but have you had extended direct contact? It is of course possible that you have had this or currently do and are asymptotic but I’m not sure if it helps. I can understand your concern but try as hard as you can to stay calm.

From: www.rcog.org.uk/en/guidelines-research-services/guidelines/coronavirus-pregnancy/covid-19-virus-infection-and-pregnancy/

Doesn't seem to be any risk to your baby.
You are in clinically vulnerable category so risk to you is slightly higher but still very low.
If you are a basically reasonably healthy person you don't need to be terrified though obviously I understand why you are. I had a baby with potential toxoplasmosis so I know the fear that your baby will be harmed. Take one day at a time and you'll soon be out of the incubation period. And if your asymptomatic the chances of you getting it are much smaller anyway Flowers

*your stepson is asymptomatic (not sure where that bit disappeared to).
