Hey everyone.
DH and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years no luck. I have pcos and had irregular periods up until 3 months ago. Since then they’ve been 32-35 day cycles which is good for me as normally I could go 6 months without a period.

I have been using ovulation sticks (online cheap ones) and expensive clear blue ovulation sticks.

Clearblue had given me two days high fertility and today I got my constant smile (peak fertility). However the cheaper sticks aren’t showing a strong line although they have been getting darker than the last over the last week.

Am I reasonable in assuming the clue blue ones are more accurate and to go with those? I have taken both type of tests at the same time each day with same urine sample.

I would go with the clearblue ones this month at least.

I'd go with what the ClearBlue ones say. They worked for me. Good luck!

Go with clear blue, I never got really dark lines on the cheaper OPK’s

Elvesinquarantine · 16/11/2020 21:40

What time are you testing with the cheapies op?

YenneferOfBattenberg · 16/11/2020 21:45

Clearvblue are dual hormone, so more accurate IMO. I hated the cheap OPKs, too much room for interpretation. Plus you can easily miss your surge if only testing once a day.

Ginger1982 · 16/11/2020 21:46

If it's been 2 years I would seek some medical help.

HoHoHolyMackerel · 16/11/2020 21:49

I never got clear peaks on opks really. Its very open to interpretation on the cheapies I think and it fluctuates so much in the day. I'd go for the clear blues. Good luck OP I really hope it works out
