Name changed as I suspect the riddle author might be on there boards, but with that being said... this one is driving me nuts. There must be someone out there who can spot the pattern in the words

ENDLESS

.... so, our riddle emerges: skulking, graven, niggling. Go on, nut this sneaky yoyo out today! You understand? Don't tell lies, smartypants. Sleuth!

Haplessly you underline, examine, extrapolate each hee-haw word. Damn nobody, you unhinged douchebag! Get this stupid drama!!

A tip?

Possibly you utilise each hint that teases, seduces, scintillates? Some evidence, even now, would do. Only your righteous, smirking grin nullifies sense. Eventually you'll learn. No-one else even notices. Sigh ...

How willingly you'll undertake each hurdle, even now. Why? YOLO??? Only you!!! Ugghhhhh. He's so obscure!! Everyone (eventually) yields some ending, gratefully. Yes??!!

Sweet taboo: odd, devilish, heuristic.

Circular. Runic.

Cold dead demons: shimmering, glistening ghosts. Sacrosanct.

This secretive enigma. Ancient text. Talisman.

Never-ending ..... God-like ........ ENDLESS .............

What? I don’t even understand the question the riddle is asking. Confused

It has reminded me of old Boswell and the post office steps though...

Sparklesocks · 15/11/2020 14:21

It doesn’t even seem like a riddle to me? More like an overwritten cryptic crossword.

AaronPurr · 15/11/2020 14:22

Where did you first encounter the riddle?

It doesn't seem very coherent, it reads more like a stream of consciousness than a riddle.

Riddlemethat81 · 15/11/2020 14:25

I think there’s a hidden message in the riddle. It’s not looking for a literal answer, you have to try and find some pattern in the words. They appear to be haphazard on purpose but it’s in service of the riddle. I’ve tried making words from the capitalized letters, or taking the first letter from each word but it’s got me stumped

Lovewineandchocs · 15/11/2020 14:27

Each word begins with the last letter of the preceding word.
Is there more to it than that, though?

Riddlemethat81 · 15/11/2020 14:31

Oh my god how did I not see that

Sounds like a long-winded jibe written by somebody Scottish who is delighting in having info that you don’t!

Oliversmumsarmy · 15/11/2020 14:33

Lovewineandchocs beat me to it.

Only thing I can think of that links the words

Bluntness100 · 15/11/2020 14:33

@Lovewineandchocs

Each word begins with the last letter of the preceding word. Is there more to it than that, though?
😂

Love how pragmatically you wrote that.

AaronPurr · 15/11/2020 14:35

I'm still curious about where you first encountered it, and why you think the person might be on here.

Did you write it?

MyMushroomsInATimeSlip · 15/11/2020 14:36

Could the first letter of the words be the first letters for the words of a song or poem?

Lovewineandchocs · 15/11/2020 14:36

Thanks Bluntness 🤣

Covidchameleon · 15/11/2020 14:37

Ahhh Boswell... did that ever get resolved?

PurpleDaisies · 15/11/2020 14:38

That’s the sort of story your phone gives you when you click on the middle word of the auto generated suggestions. Example...

“The only reason why you can’t go wrong with this is the best way you are the only person you can go on here for yourself or you have a good plan on your own and your friends and your daughter in your prayers love that you’re happy and healthy.”

But I agree, it’s the last letter and first letter being the same that’s the answer.

Bluntness100 · 15/11/2020 14:40

It was solved immediately by loveswineandchocs..it’s not exactly a long thread,😃
BessMarvin · 15/11/2020 14:41

I opened tentatively thinking this better not be another boswell!

CrumbsThatsQuick · 15/11/2020 14:43

So chuffed with myself as I saw that immediately, and I NEVER get riddles.

Riddlemethat81 · 15/11/2020 14:47

No I can’t claim this one, though I do like a good riddle. It was written by a good friend of mine.

Oww good spot.

Also OP i'm very confused, why are you requesting the thread is taken down?

BessMarvin · 15/11/2020 14:55

@izzywizzywont

They must have meant to type you not you'll
Lovewineandchocs · 15/11/2020 14:56

Ah fair enough. It would have worked if it was “you” not “you’ll” 🤣🤣

BessMarvin · 15/11/2020 14:56

@ImaSababa

What was Boswell??
A thread with a riddle. Involving someone called boswell. Apparently the answer was they can't tell you the answer because there isn't one. Or something. It was deeply irritating.
