To still worry about SIDS at 11 months

DS is 11 months - he’s currently having an uncharacteristic long nap. I should be relaxing and enjoying it but I’m sat here worrying something is up with him.

I know if I open the door and check him I’ll wake him up. Obviously I can see him on the video monitor but of course he’s just completely still.

Am I being crazy?

Not crazy, just overly anxious. The risk of SIDS falls dramatically after 3 months. If he is in a safe environment you can relax. If you are struggling to relax it might help to get some online self help for anxiety. Or ask your HV/ GP for a referral for IAPT.
