Should I suppress it?

Dd has a couple of Halloween fancy dress parties to go to and I can't help thinking it would be fun to dress ds up too.

Would you? Is it a bit of fun or too naff to contemplate? Might I scar the poor wee chap for life?

Go for it, you will need some good photos for showing at his 18th birthday bash.

Our DCs were dressed up as pumpkins/santas, don't think they would let me now though

No don't suppress it, how often do we get the chance to dress our children up as big orange vegetables. I am excited about halloween party at toddlers and am thinking either pumpkin, or skeleton (Tesco doing fantastic skeleton sleepsuits)for 5 month old and if I can't be bothered to make an outfit, maybe Chucky for my 18 month old ( will take absolutely no effort on my part).

JackOLANTERNstini · 17/10/2007 22:29

I did it lasy year - dd was 7 months. Her cousin (8 mo) was wearing the same outfit and they looked so cute together. The other kids will love that he 'wants' to be part of their party

YANBU - DS was 11mths last Halloween, had been walking for a few weeks and had that zombie stagger as he lurched around the furniture - he looked great in a ghost costume and I have the video footage to prove it. He will no doubt hate me when he is 18 but it was SO worth it
