To decorate my car instead?

We're undergoing major renovations on our new house and it's looking unlikely to be ready in time for Christmas. I absolutely love Christmas and am usually one of the first people to put my tree up. But this year I'm seeing people with their trees up already and I'm nowhere near ready to put mine up. Our living room is totally back to brick so it's going to take a while. I need some festivity around me so thought I might just decorate inside the car a bit. Nothing major, just some tinsel, window stickers and a mini dashboard tree. I do spend a lot of time in the car so it will be appreciated. What do people think?

Go for it. We have to do whatever we can to cheer ourselves up and if it works for you, then YANBU.

I wouldn't but each to their own, I would just put the tree elsewhere or if there's no room, I would get one for outside my window.

Nothing would impede vision. Even windows are being replaced so there's really no options to decorate the house at all just now. It's entirely possible that could change depending on how quickly the work gets done but it's looking unlikely.
