To have asked them to control their dog?

Just back from the park. My dogs are always on the lead as they have no recall and are nervous.

Couple with an off lead dog harassing all other dogs in the area. Clearly several unhappy owners as it wouldn’t leave them alone.

Dog comes back to ours and I got in between them and shouted could you please control your dog?

They were so snippy and off at being asked Confused

I hate that. It’s even worse when they shout “it’s ok, he’s friendly!”

It’s not ok - my dog is certainly not friendly and that’s why he’s on a lead.

Do you really have to ask?

One of my dogs is friendly, the other is a nervous wreck and even has a bright yellow lead that says nervous on it.

A big off lead dog harassing him is a nightmare.
