Posting here for traffic before I potentially make a mistake?
I have had samsung phones for the last 15 years, and I have a desktop pc, its a gaming pc, I do not play games, built it to be 'future proof' for a few years. Its huge and takes up a lot of space when you take into account the desk and chair etc as well. (1 bed flat, the extra space would be nice)
Lately been looking at going the apple route, the macbook pro, and an iphone. I am so used to Windows I am scared I might not get used to something else now, I have never had anything other than a desktop pc!
What I need it for:
Video/image editing (hobby not job)
browsing the web, email, youtube, usual websites such as messenger,forums, banking etc
I have a lot of photos and videos which I usually just back up to google drive, can I do the same with icloud? If I run out of space is it expensive to get more storage?
I don't know anyone else with an iphone believe it or not so wouldn't be using imessage, can I do a normal text?
Thought I would ask apple users as I have never used an apple product, and don't want to rush into anything. I would be selling my pc/phone to fund it so it won't be yet anyway, Just wanted to ask before I do anything.
