AIBU to think I won’t make it to my planned C section date ?

I’m currently 36+1 with twins. First pregnancy. Since last night I’ve had intermittent quite intense cramps- quite sporadic - maybe once every 45 minutes...1 hour but don’t last very long- eased with paracetamol.
A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with obstetric cholestasis which has been awful and meant weekly monitoring and bloods. I’m in at the moment for my bloods- had them taken this morning and I also mentioned the cramps. They hooked me up to the CTG- both twins have a good trace but machine has picked up quite a few tightenings/ contractions... big peaks but don’t last long. These have coincided with my cramps. They’re manageable pain wise. Midwife said she would mention to the doctor but didn’t seem worried but seemed to indicate this could be a sign of very early labour...They’ve asked me to wait for the doctor to review my bloods and discuss.
My elective C section is booked for next Friday as the recommendation with twins and for cholestasis is to get them out before 38 weeks. I’m beginning to think I won’t make it that long and babies might make an early appearance. AIBU to think this or can the latent phase of labour last a week?
