Has anyone had what they thought was periods during pregnancy ????
I haven’t been well recently, suppose you could say pregnancy symptoms. My issue is we haven’t actually done the deed in months and I have had what I thought was periods. I have been vomiting a lot/ been bloating and sorry for the tmi but piles came back ( haven’t had them since second pregnancy 7 years ago )
I just took a test this afternoon which has come up as a very clear positive, took another and the same result.
I am so confused right now. I will book an appointment with doctor of course but I’m in completely freak out mode.
It defo wouldn’t be planned I have 2 DC 13 and nearly 7.
Partner and I have been friends for a very very very long time but only started dating 11 months ago.
I don’t know what I am actually asking 🤣

RubbishQueen · 15/11/2020 07:41

Congratulation! Guess your little lady made the decision for you guys to have a baby! 😂

All the best to you and your family.

ProfessorPootle · 15/11/2020 11:25

Congratulations 🎉 it’s more common than people think to find out late, my nan found out she was expecting my auntie when she was 8m and only because she felt some kicks when cleaning the floor. She hadn’t had a period for ages as my dad was a year and she was bfing. Enjoy the online shopping, so exciting Flowers

Any news?

arewethere · 15/11/2020 14:59

@Whattheactual20201

Wow 🤣 so we managed to tell everyone I’m not sure who’s reaction was best

My brother “ I mean I’m not fussed to much about the fact you are having a baby together, I am slightly concerned there will be a human who is genetically part you and him, it’s the future of the planet I worry for “ 🤣🤣

My mum “ how did you not know ??You have done it twice before “ 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My dad “ guessing you need my bank card “ haha

I love this post. What an amazing family and your dad is like mine. He never says he loves us but makes sure we have what we need
Helen6606 · 15/11/2020 15:01

Whattheactual20201 · 15/11/2020 15:02

OMG it finally happened ! This morning I totally freaked out ( which I know was going to happen eventually )
I’m calmer again now, hopefully I needed that. My poor DP 🤣

@Helen6606 did you just copy and paste my comment to OP? Hmm

RandomMess · 15/11/2020 16:06

@Whattheactual20201 wait until you're in active labour and then suddenly truly remember that it actually HURTS 🤦🏼‍♀️

GinandGingerBeer · 15/11/2020 16:06

Aww what a lovely thread. Huge congratulations to you and your bewildered partner. You sound really happy, chuffed for you Smile

Deep breaths!! You can do this!
Brenna24 · 15/11/2020 22:12

Of course it did! I'm surprised you've been this calm for so long! I was a mess and had just short of nine months each time! In all honesty babies don't need much! A couple of sleep suits/vests, somewhere to sleep and a source of food be it boobs or bottles. Maybe ask around your friends because I had lots of stuff stored after my last baby for a fair while. 🥰
CanSomeoneElsePickMyName · 15/11/2020 22:26

And loved donating it as I knew it would be used and loved for another baby. Made getting rid of it all so much easier x

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 16/11/2020 02:40

Haha, I'm not surprised it's finally hit you - I think you've probably been in a state of shock for the last few days and now it's worn off and reality has kicked in! Grin

Now you've had your freak-out though, you can settle in to prepping for the baby. I was thinking about you this morning on the way to the GP for menopausal symptoms and thinking "omg, I wouldn't know what to do if I turned out to be pg, all those NAPPIES again!" but I'm far too old so not gonna happen to me. Halloween Grin

Still, it's very exciting for you and your family - I bet your daughter is thrilled, hey!

pylongazer · 16/11/2020 06:59

This is so exciting and u think freaking out is more than reasonable!

LemonBreeland · 16/11/2020 09:28

Wow 30 weeks, that is incredible. So happy for you OP> I know you've had your freak out now, which is completely understandable. I'm sure you'll be fine from here on.

TurquoiseDragon · 16/11/2020 10:12

I have just read this thread start to finish.

Congratulations! Thanks

Hope all goes well, given you had your previous 2DC early, fingers are crossed.

Makinglemonadefromlemons · 16/11/2020 10:22

Congratulations!

My husband's friend was a dancer, putting on 3 shows a day, totally flat tummy & found out she was 7 months!!! Her baby was totally healthy and now a dancer himself!

Whattheactual20201 · 16/11/2020 14:57

So I’m doing all the shopping today because otherwise I will be freaking out forever
Has anyone bought something similar from previous little one
For nearly 470 ?
Seems a decent deal.

Looks like a great deal!

lollylimejuice · 16/11/2020 16:11

I went on to Trust Pilot as I always check reviews. The reviews for this company are mixed so it's worth a quick check before you purchase. At the bottom of the page there's a section that tells you how many good and bad reviews and if the company replies to the bad ones.

LuluPDB · 16/11/2020 16:16

Please dont buy from precious little ones! My friend brought stuff from them and it never turned up and she couldnt get a refund! Ive heard so many terrible things about them too.

I had my daughter back in June and we got most of her stuff as a bundle from online4baby. Might be better looking there rather than precious little one x

TiddlesUpATree · 16/11/2020 18:53

Think there's a couple of deals on prams on amazon today. Good luck with everything x
