In your picture, are the switches with the green line the ones with sockets ?
Because it looks like the red switch to the right of them is still down.
(Assuming down =off)

The rcd is down, the big black one in the middle.
You need to pull it right down, then push it up to reset it.
If it won’t stay up then unplug everything and try again.

Sorry, not much help and can't read what each of the switches are (apart from main switch). That maroon-coloured switch in the middle looks to be in the off position compared with the others - is it? (I assume it is a switch?).

Otherwise, I think I'd try turning everything off, or especially the main and wait a couple of mins and try again. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge than me (or who has an electrician in the family or is one) can come along and be of more help.

Down is on in the UK. If it keeps tripping the contact breaker then you have a short somewhere. Unplug everything and see if that resets. If it does plug everything back in one by one, the appliance it trips will have the fault. If it trips with nothing plugged in , call and electrican , you mahe have a fire risk. This assuming you are talking about plug sockets.

UP is on in my (UK) fuse box and also, judging by the note next to main switch in OP's box, in hers too.

No its not. You can even read the labels on the picture. Down is OFF. Push that up, it should reset. Things should work then.

Looks like the big one to the right of the four grey ones is down (off). Try switching that back up.

If it works briefly and then trips again you might have a problem somewhere, so call letting agent/electrician.

Toiletrollbuyer · 11/11/2020 12:30

@Ilovechov just keep an eye on it, it’s tripped for a reason, more than likely an appliance on its way out.
