To think I can’t be the only one?!

Fairly frequently I get this weird tickling sensation, anywhere from inside my armpit area/underneath the top of my arms, to in my chest, behind my boob. Only ever in the left side.

It doesn’t hurt, but feels ‘cringey’/uncomfy in the same way that pins and needles is (but not the same feeling). I want to scratch it but it feels very deep inside my body.

Anyone else, and any idea what causes it?
I’ve worriedly thought cancer before but it’s not a symptom I’ve heard of, not without pain. I do get chest pain sometimes but I’m fairly certain that’s due to anxiety.

Could it be some kind of trapped nerve? Could be worth seeing an osteopath to rule it out. No other experiences but hopefully it’s nothing to worry about.

I have something similar. A correlation between as similar itch just below my navel and a tingly feeling in my right inner thigh. It only happens once or twice a year, and as you say, it is a cringy uncomfortable feeling.

I have put it down to normal variation in human experiences!

@Pomelos maybe, had not thought of that, thanks!

@MaskingForIt haha yes that’s what I’ve concluded - a little quirk, which no one will ever understand why it happens!

It sounds rather like the sensation I get with restless leg syndrome!
