Hi

While I've been decorating I've found a newspaper dated November 1964. Aibu to think I can sell this somewhere and does anyone have any tips?

What date, what paper, what condition is it in, and what is the headline?

Sirzy · 10/11/2020 17:24

Unless it is from a significant event I doubt anyone would be interested

alexdgr8 · 10/11/2020 17:27

no.. nobody would pay for that. it's not unique. copies are avail.
why not keep it for interest.

and put some from today back in the space, with a little time-capsule type note to future generations/ owners/builders.

I would think it's unlikely to sell for much unless it's a special edition or historic event. What were you thinking of pricing it at?

I doubt it. There will be tonnes of copies of old newspapers .

You could try eBay. It might make a good birthday gift for someone born on or around that date. Or if there's a sports headline mentioning a football victory a fan might be interested (include this in your listing if so). I doubt you'd get a fortune for it unless as pp said there is a very memorable headline.
