to want to buy dd's teach a little gift

we ahev had to amend dd's statemant. I was really nervous about doing it as I can't remeber doing it before.
teach has been brill and I think most likely put a lot of work into it. I know it is her job.
would it be odd to give her a small gift as a thankyou.

I think it would be lovely. Everyone needs thanks for a job well done, even if it is what you are supposed to do.

She'd love it. Anyone would. And a thank you letter. Teachers get such shit from most parents that they practically blub at a kind word.
