I am wondering if i should allow my thirteen year old son to get the game Payday 2. I just want to check if it is really that bad before i say yes.

If you want your 13 YO simulating dealing drugs. I wouldn’t.

DP has played this and says no, it's very violent and sweary, you can set people on fire, use nail guns + the whole point is to intimidate and sometimes kill civilians and it glamourizes bank robbery

I mostly stick to the pegi guidelines but will allow them to play games that are slightly older.

Payday 2 is pegi 18, I'd say no.

Does he play other 18 games?

ShalomToYouJackie this sounds horrendous! I'd certainly not be buying it for my child if they were 13. Also can I just say AMAZING name 🤣👏

If you're not sure on a game then I'd check igdb. The pegi ratings are down on the right when you scroll down.

For this game:

Violence is highlighted by realistic gunfire, cries of pain, and large blood-splatter effects. During the course of the game, some paintings and drawings depict women in suggestive poses and/or revealing outfits. Some missions require interaction with drugs: in one mission, players cook and defend batches of methamphetamine (“meth”); another mission requires players to guard and transport large bags of cocaine. The words “fk,” “sht,” and “ashole” appear in the dialogue

@randomchap
Bloody hell I wouldn't call that description a game. GrinShock
