Period type pain and lower backache

I’m 37 weeks pregnant and for the past 2/3 days been getting this period type pain along side lower back pain these pains normally come in the evening when I’m relaxing. They are just like period pains not too painful but achy and back actually hurts quite a bit at times. Are these braxton kicks? Has anyone had these ? Bump does go quite solid when this happens...

I’d say it’s either Braxton Hicks or a slow start to your labour - I was told that Braxton Hicks pains stop if you change activity (so if you are lying down, get up and walk around and if you are up and about then lie down) but if not then they are real contractions.

All of my labour pains were in my back every time so it could be the real thing starting. Lots of luck, how exciting!
