Am I depressed?

At the moment I'm generally "down". No enthusiasm for anything and don't look forward to the relentless day ahead with my 2 small children. I'm spending too much time on social media and the internet and find myself comparing my life to others and feeling low as a result. I'm wondering if coming off it completely for a while would be good for me. I don't know if I'm a tad depressed or it's just my circumstances (skint, tired, toddlers and lockdown).

It does sound like it yes, in a fairly normal mum worn out in a pandemic kind of a way. Gadget time is sometimes the only release that can really be achieved don't beat yourself up over it. These are very tricky times, try to do or focus more on what makes you happy,,,,,it is all very bleugh at the moment but this too will change.

Sounds a bit like low level depression. I hardly know anyone not feeling like that at the moment so you’re not alone.

Absolutely remove yourself from social media. It's a parasite that adds no value to our lives. Its ruining peoples mental health. Replace with with a new hobbie or something for a month and see how much better you feel. I did it.
