I just don’t really understand... 78? He will be 82 at the end of his term. They’ve made such a big deal about Trump being one of very few presidents who failed to secure a 2nd term so will Biden run again at 82? And then we have a 86 year old US president at the end of that term?

Is the consensus that Biden won’t see out this term and hand over to Harris?

I recall my grandparents needing 2 days of recovery after their UK-SA air travel at a younger age and there is no jet lag to factor in.
How is this guy going to cope? And quite honestly why does someone who should be enjoying their retirement have any desire to be president. I get these men live off power but why do voters think this is reasonable.

I predicted last week that Trump will end up in prison and I hope he does. Kamala Harris is an educated, intelligent breath of fresh air and a woman. About bloody time.

I think Trump will end in prison, as well, and probably sent there by the State of New York, where he cannot pardon himself (which seems to be a real issue, we need to fix that...and a lot of other things, as well).

I'm with you on Kamala. I liked her before, and liked her far better when I learned that her adult step-children call her "Momala." You don't give pet names like that to people who aren't kind to you. It speaks well of her as a woman, aside from a politician.

Posters are saying Biden has cognitive decline but what about the mental state of a person who is able to comprehend that they have lost an election.

People who think Biden has cognitive decline are mostly judging by his occasional hesitation in speaking. That's from being a life-long stutterer and having to constantly control it. I'm fairly certain he could rattle off "Person, man, woman, camera, TV" with no problem.
