He has a stutter and has to work hard to overcome that.

I don’t hear any slurring though

I actually think that he is very clear and rousing. Best speech he has given in a whilst.

He stumbles over his words more when he gets more animated, it’s understandable, most people do it actually. He’s just under more scrutiny

I thought his speech was very good in places. God it was great to see someone normal.

Ah ok.maybe slurry was the wrong word, it was just a little bit jumbled. In fairness, he must be absolutely knackered.

Kamala Harris was excellent.

He was a little hesitant at first but got a strong ending, IMO.
Even the Fox presenters didn't criticise at the end.

It's lovely to see his grandchildren so close and warm to him, unlike others.

In a way it's a good thing, as it clears it up for their viewers.

It's all pre-programmed into a computer and the computer 'guides' the drones.

I'm a bit of a Disney nerd and there was a video on the Disney Parks Blog about how they did their drone show. Pretty damned amazing and huge kudos to the computer nerds.

I want a drone show over the WH now with giant middle fingers and 'Buh-bye Bawbag' in flashing lights.

He said all the right things and hit the tone right.

It was good. A very classic Presidential speech. Not amazing nor particularly memorable tbh. But he caught the moment and the mood.

But talk is cheap. He now has to show in the next few weeks if he can maintain that and turn it into something solid to maintain the peace.

Thats the hard bit.

There’s a pandemic, and all the issues stemming from that, that should mean a willingness to work together, but will it?

Such a wonderful change from the egotism and ‘me, me me’. Plus, he’s sane and that’s a bonus. I am worried about what Trump will do to exact revenge though.
