As far as celebrating (someone mentioned upthread), that will come. Right now I think most of us are feeling a deep and solemn gratitude and thankfulness.

I remember the morning after the 2016 US election.

Someone on MN posted: "I love the smell of liberal tears."

It was one of many posters who vanished or namechanged that day, and matched exactly the messages coming from the top at team Trump. I've been holding onto that memory since that day.

Now in 2020, I'm watching the Dem president-elect and other Dem speakers talk of being the president of all America. Of trying to work with and for people who didn't vote Democratic.

This is the difference between Trumpism and where the Biden team is aiming.

I know their two votes weren't the ones that counted but proud of my DSis and her partner in Pa!
