Too much infidelity on tv/movies?

I feel like we have way too much infidelity being shown on tv/movies which just normalises it. Or maybe it is simple a true reflection of society where a ridiculously high number of men are cheating? I’m always waiting for the man to be shown with his bit on the side in every tv show or movie I watch and if he’s not doing that I’m surprised!

ridiculously high number of men are cheating?

Which requires a ridiculously high number of women to cheat with them, don't forget.

YANBU
The 3-way love triangle has been portrayed over and over. It’s either the man or the woman being tempted away by another man or woman.

Well, a slew of cutesy-cosy relationships being depicted on telly would have a negative effect on viewing figures, wouldn't it? That's the point: it's fiction. You're basically saying adults watching adultery makes them commit adultery. People are responsible for their own life choices, you know.
