Hi. Hi I've been reading the new rules that come into place next week and couldn't find an answer to my question. I'm a self employed cleaner who goes into peoples homes to clean. If no one is in will I still be able to work?

Thanks

Op, I'm a self employed cleaner in Northern Ireland. We have had lockdown for 2 weeks now and I'm working as normal. Most of my houses are empty, a few have someone in, but generally they stay in another room. I've had one client cancel at the last minute who I've cleaned for for a number of years. They will lose their slot, there is no reason why we cannot work.

I plan to tell my cleaner to come if she wants. DH and I will be here WFH but will stay out of her way.

You're allowed to go to work as normal

All work that can't be done from home is fine
