Another covid one, testing and isolation

So tomorrow is my last day of 14 days of isolation after my wife tested positive for covid19, during the 14 days i have not developed any symptoms, i was tested 2 days after my wifes results but that was because work insisted even tho i had no symptoms!

She is a nurse, she has been back to work since last weekend! Today they got a message in the wards whatsapp group, saying they have had another out break on the ward (no shit because my they are getting nurses who are looking after positive patients to then look after negative patients in the same shift!) So my wife has had to go for another test again today!

So if she test positive i will have to take another 2 weeks off work? A job that i have only worked 1 week out of 3 now, im getting fucking stressed because i cant afford to take another £90 a week!

Wouldn't she have some short-term immunity?

As far as I know, you can't be reliably re-tested within 60 days of a positive test as it could produce a false positive. One of my friends is a nurse and tested positive around a month ago, she was then exempt from further testing for 60 days.
