Trick or treaters! We’re in lockdown FFS!

None here.

rougebuterfly · 31/10/2020 18:46

Loads here! I am really shock that during a pandemic people are doing this.

rougebuterfly · 31/10/2020 18:46

*Shocked

Lockheart · 31/10/2020 18:47

Oh look, another thread saying exactly the same fucking thing.

Dugsbollox · 31/10/2020 18:48

None here. The weather is atrocious, thankfully. Enough to put any eejits off guising this year.

dementedpixie · 31/10/2020 18:50

I'm in Scotland and we were told not to do it. Nobody has been to the house and just as well as I've no sweets for anyone

Dugsbollox · 31/10/2020 18:52

I've loads of sweets, but they'd still get nothing if they knocked on my door. Grin

MonClareDevole · 31/10/2020 18:54

That’s the most useful reply I’ve had. Ever. Thanks.

Totally past caring at this point

BreakfastOfWaffles · 31/10/2020 19:42

It's been really well done here. Houses are decorated, people walking round in small family groups. Some have sweets pegged in individual bags onto their hedges. All socially distanced, no knocking on doors. Everyone has had a lovely evening, no rules broken.

jessstan1 · 31/10/2020 19:52

Nothing here but there never is. Thank goodness!

TheRealShatParp · 31/10/2020 19:53

You should probably just add your comment to the other truck or treat threads. No need for another one.

I probably should have, but my ego seemed to want it’s own thread 🙄 dopamine, eh? It’s a bugger.

Haven’t seen any actually knocking on doors here. There are kids going around in costume but not actually knocking.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 31/10/2020 20:56

Loads here, but I’ve not decorated the outside so nobody has knocked the door thank goodness.

Blonde87 · 01/11/2020 16:34

I took my three trick or treating as I do every year, why wouldn't I? We had a great time 😁

You poor love, having no access to any kind of news source. You missed the small matter of a pandemic.

dementedpixie · 01/11/2020 16:39

We were told not to in Scotland so noone came round. Our street is normally very busy and houses decorated but not this year.

StrawberrySquash · 01/11/2020 18:21

I don't see how it's dangerous. This virus spreads through being indoors, in closish contact for a decent amount of time. As long as people keep apart on the doorstep it's not a big deal.
And it's really important that we understand what is safer and what is more dangerous. Because we need the safer things to get us through this and help us resist the temptation to do the less safe things.
So we need to stop with this outraged moralising. It's not doing anyone any good.
