To hate my hair

I have hip length, dark curly hair naturally.

I recently spent a couple hundred having my hair highlighted blonde - and it’s awful.

Not the hairdressers fault - she’s done a good job and given me what I’ve asked for, but the colour looks weird against my olive skin and I just don’t like it at all. Is it unreasonable to just packet dye it back black, do I make an appointment to have it dyed back, or still it out and try and get used to it.

If you hate it you hate it. No point keeping it if you know you really don’t like it.

I wouldn’t necessarily shove a box dye straight on it, could you perhaps ring your hairdresser and explain that it’s not their fault but you’re not happy and don’t want to keep the blonde. Ask your options - what would work, how long should you wait etc.

Not saying you have to book straight back in with her but I would probably consult hairdresser at least.

I’ve only ever put brown on blonde and you have to be really careful not to end up orange / pink. Not sure about black but I’d definitely want to check first (I’m thinking you might end up a bit green?)

Good luck!
