And if so, how will they find the time to do both this month especially as it looks like we’re going into proper lockdown next week and there will be more to report on?

Ooh maybe

I have just bought a poppy mask so killing two birds with one stone there

If the poppy police are those who expect people to wear poppies then no I don’t think they are the same. In my experience those moaning if someone on the telly isn’t wearing a poppy tend to be right wing, UKIP/Britain First types who are more likely to believe their civil liberties are being infringed by lockdown than be reporting those who break it.

If there's a lockdown, you can bet there'll be a "but it's okay, you don't have to lockdown for remembrance sunday" in the legislation, exactly because the two groups have a huge overlap. people born in the 50's and 60's who want everyone to do exactly what they say.

I suspect there are poppy police who insist that people should wear poppies as they do to signal their support for the Armed Forces and patriotism but who are the first not to wear masks because it's their right not to wear a mask and they believe that people shouldn't be told what to do by other.s

Some overlap, but no i dont think so. Very different world views and ideologies.
