To not want to get dd tested again

I tested positive on Tuesday and dd started with a cough on Monday so shipped her off for a test on Tuesday after I received my positive result. However, she wouldn't let us anywhere near her with the swab (she's only one) and subsequently the results came back negative. AIBU to not want to put her through that again and just have her isolate for the 14 days even though she's had symptoms since Monday?

YANBU as long as she hasnt been in close contact with anyone as they would need to isolate if her test had been positive.

That I hadn't been in contact with so they're isolating anyway

If she is isolating you don't need to have her tested.

I got a result that was unable to be read, because I was awful at doing it to myself! I don't think you need to test her again, a negative is negative in any case (not inconclusive).

No need to get her tested again so long as she/you are isolating.

I was told for children under 12 you can choose isolation instead of testing.
