There are 4 families in our street who have been pretty lax about the restrictions/lockdown/social distancing etc. There's about 8 kids, all different ages and schools who have been out playing together in the street pretty much daily, even throughout the earlier lockdown. I never really paid much attention, not my business, the parents are idiots to allow it but whatever.

Tonight, however, they've taken it upon themselves to throw a Halloween party complete with fireworks. Not only that, but another family who used to live here have come round to join in. Am I right in thinking this is really taking the piss?! They seem to think they're completely above the rules!

I'm seriously considering reporting them... so AIBU?!

I'd just let them get on with it . Its their problem not yours.

If you report they will probably realise who it is and then you will have to deal with the fall out
