To buy new mailbox because I can't be arsed cleaning old one?!

As well as trying to up my game, clean more, follow FLYlady I also want to do away with anything I can do away with to make life easier.

My username says it all!

Want to get rid of our metal coated mailbox and exchange for a plastic/resin one I saw (some German make). Reason being the weird coated metal is a bugger to clean esp where bird droppings are concerned and it's just not getting done because it's such a hassle.

Now I have to persuade DH.

Birds will still shit on a plastic one.

Iv binned stuff when I don’t want to clean it.

Mostly mugs that I’ve left tea in at work and then been ill the following week so it’s got mouldy. Straight in the bin.

Get a new one.

I was hoping it would just wipe off easier. The coated metal is awful to clean. I heard W40 might do the trick - but what a hassle!
