Dated around when younger, but spent the majority of their adult life travelling. They adopted a child in their 40's but never settled down with a bloke.

What do you think of this?

Nothing. Seems like an interesting life though.

In what way?

I wouldn’t be bothered. It’s literally nothing to do with me.

I think it’s better than ‘accidentally’ falling pregnant by the first bloke going.

I don’t really have an opinion. There’s no negatives there though, is there?

There are so many children in the system, great for the adopted child.

Why do you want an opinion on this? Each to their own?

Nothing really.
Life isn't all about study, get a job, meet someone, have kids. Everyone's journey is different and that should be celebrated.

Sounds like they are happy so fair play to them. I don't have any opinion really.

Sounds like it could have been me if I had decided I wanted children as adoption would be my only option after menopause at 38 years old and no intention of wasting my fabulous life on a man.

Sounds like a great life to me.

I wouldn't think anything.
Most people live in their own heads they don't generally give much thought to families and their set up unless they're related or close friends.
It isn't that unique really .
