Following several posts about Wales etc. is it time England had a vote to become independent (smile)

Independent from what? The reason for other nations to want to be independent is to not be governed by England... England is not governed by a different country!

I don't understand it, really. The other countries of the UK seem to hate the English on an individual and personal level, because of the control of their natons from the English government.

I'm pretty sure a large number of English people also hate the English government and the control they have over everyone and everything.

They're happy when the people are divided and fighting amongst themselves. Keeps the public busy and hating each other while they get on with whatever corrupt business they have planned.
