I'm looking at a house that's on the market. The vendor bought the house in 2016 and has lived there since. I wanted to buy the title deeds to check the boundaries and easements etc. When I search for the postcode, the address shows up but they say that they don't have any information relating to the property. When I use the map function to search, the house isn't there. This leads me to believe the house must be unregistered - but if it was sold in 2016 then it must be registered.
What happens if the house hasn't been registered when it should have been? How is this possible? Is there any other reason why it wouldn't be coming up?
The address and location I'm looking for are 100% definitely correct and I've double-checked with the agent and the neighbours that the current owner purchased the house and moved in in 2016.

Would the agent have anymore info?

Nothing more than that the vendor purchased and moved in in 2016 so it should be registered.
