Is it gross to pee in the bath?

Bloody hell, even my 3 year old wants to get out of the bath when she needs a wee!

Yuck, no way. I do in the shower but only before I've washed my body obviously.

I've done it once when I had very bad cystitis and read online that peeing in warm water can help. But I didn't sit around in it after and I rinsed off properly! I often pee in the shower though.

My babies used to do both. So gross. By the time they were toilet trained they got out of the bath for a wee.

I can't remember where I read this, in some novel somewhere- someone says a gentleman is someone who uses a butter knife even when dining alone and someone else says that actually, a gentleman is someone who gets out of the bath to piss.

well assuming you’re being serious, wee is sterile, poo isn’t. And it’s solid. But I’m guessing that was a riff so I shouldn’t engage...!

Sure. But sometimes you need to go again. The hot water often makes me want to and I'm not getting out of my nice bath to go dripping to the loo just to get back in if I wasnt finished. Sod that!

I thought urine was sterile and around 95% water, hence why it was ok to drink if you're into that sort of thing?

I very rarely have a bath but was advised after both births (bad tears) to wee in the bath to stop the stinging.

I went through a stage of recurrent UTIs a few years ago too and the consultant advised me to have a bath if the pain was bad and wee whilst in there to help with the discomfort.

To be fair I've never done it apart from those specific circumstances but am amazed so many think it is so awful.
